In the first chapter Peter settled the discussion about salvation and what it means to be saved. Here in chapter two Peter begins to challenge us to enter a deeper understanding of how we should live now that we are saved. We are not saved without purpose. God wants all of us to progessively grow in our faith.
I. To progress in our faith we have to establish our faith. vs 1
II. To progress in our faith we have to be willing to elminate sin. vs 1
III. To progress in our faith we have to desire the word. vs 2
IV. To progress in our faith we have to remember God's goodness. vs 3
