Sometimes it seems that following Jesus is reduced to a list of do's and dont's. However, following Jesus is more than just appearing to do the right thing at the right time. It is an ever-changing heart that learns to seek the Glory of God above all else. God wants more than our sacrifice He wants our hearts, and the heart is best demonstrated in our character as we grow to follow Jesus more closely than ever before.
I. To Follow Jesus, we must be Submissive and Humble. vs 5-6
II. To Follow Jesus, we must live Faithfully in Sobriety. vs 7-8
III. To Follow Jesus, we must be Viigilant about evil and Firm in our faith. vs 8-9
IV. To Follow Jesus, we must trust His promise and Love His people. vs10-14
