Victorious through Suffering
I Peter 3:18-22
We have all experienced suffering for one reason or another. The universal feeling towards that suffering is often that suffering is a negative. However, when we see God's people and especially His Son suffering for righteousness sake we can know that God's good plan is at work. It was Jesus suffering that ultimately brought us all victory!
I. Jesus bore our sin to bring victory. vs 18
II. Jesus proclaimed that victory to His enemies. vs 18-20
III. Jesus' victory brought salvation. vs 20-21
IV. Jesus' victory asserts His supremacy. vs 22
