When did you leave home and start out on your own? Throughout history and culture the answer to that quesiton has varied greatly. Some cultures recognized children as adults at 12 others at 18. The average american child leaves home somewhere between the ages of 24 and 27. They also tend to return home at least once before finally being on their own. Today we are talking about leaving the custodial care of sin behind. When we do so we grow up and away from our sin and mature in our faith.
